Artrage, Modular Touring and members of the WA music industry have joined forces to raise money for the Red Cross Victorian Bushfires Appeal.

“Everyone is united in their desire to help the victims of these bush fires,” states Anton Maz, ‘BENEFIT’ organiser. “Collectively we have decided to raise as much money as possible in the best way we can, which is through a kick-ass line-up of Perth’s most exciting bands, who have all jumped behind the cause. We want the audience to enjoy themselves but also know that by doing so they are contributing to a nationwide effort to support all of the people affected by this tragedy.”

In the main room psych-rockers and homegrown sensation, Tame Impala (Modular Records) lead an impressive line-up including The Silents, Injured Ninja, The Scotch of St James, Kill Teen Angst and special DJ sets by Harlequin League and Boys Boys Boys, plus more.

A dedicated acoustic room will include an equally impressive line-up of special guests including Hayley Beth, Andrew Ryan and Amber from Rabbit Island.

‘BENEFIT’ takes place at The Bakery Artrage Complex on Saturday 28 February. Doors open at 8pm and close at 3am. The diverse line-up will feature Perth’s best rock, indie, leftfield and dance acts and DJ’s with many special surprises in store.

With many more amazing acts to be announced soon, ‘BENEFIT’ is shaping up to be a very big gig indeed with an even bigger heart.
