After the show hosts Jeremy Clarkson and Richard Hammond headed down to Margaret River where Clarkson and Hammond both posted a picture to Twitter.

The image showed the pair outside the Margaret River Fudge Factory.

“Have got jobs at last. Here. As packers.” Clarkson wrote, his colleague posting a similar message to his own Twitter account.

The comment has been condemned for its reference to the homophobic slur “fudge packer”.

A spokesman for UK gay rights organisation Stonewall has suggested that Mr Clarkson should consider packing up his career.

“We can’t quite see Clarkson in the confectionery industry, maybe it’s the sour taste that his racist and homophobic slurs leave. All we can see him packing up at the moment is his career.”

Clarkson’s contract with the hit BBC show was not renewed after he punched a producer in the face. His colleagues May and Hammond also chose to leave the show.
