SBS’s most irreverent news program ‘The Feed’ have poked a little fun at the Australian Christian Lobby with a parody video featuring “lapsed Catholics.”

The video satirises the Australian Christian Lobby’s hard-line stance against marriage equality and the Safe Schools program, showcasing a number of citizens with much more pressing concerns such as brunch and a Sunday sleep-in.

Creator and comedian Dan Illic developed the short clip from a Twitter post he published earlier this year while watching ‘Q&A’.

“We think marriage equality will be a beautiful thing,” one lapsed Catholic says.

“Especially if we don’t have to do anything extra.”

Watch the video below and tell us what you think.
