Kenya’s ‘moral policeman’ Ezekial Mutua has expressed concern about two male lions who were observed having sex in the Masai Mara game reserve and suggested that the should be separated.

Ezekial Mutua, the chief executive of the Kenya Film Classification Board, said the pair must have been influenced after they viewed a human same sex couple “behaving badly” in the area.

Mutua said it was one of the few explanations for the pair to be displaying homosexual behaviour, because….. wait for it…. OMG…. “Lions don’t watch films or television.”

Sorry MGM Lion dude, he probably has a point.

Of course there could be another reason the lions have fallen in love, there might be evil forces at work, as Mutua notes,”demons also possess animals.

“The demonic spirits inflicting in humans seems to have now caught up with animals.” Mutua said before suggesting the couple should be broken up and sent to therapy.

“That is why I will say isolate the crazy gay animals, study their behaviour because it is not normal.

“The very idea of sex even among animals is for procreation. Two male lions cannot procreate and therefore we will lose the lion species.”

The government official said his office did not have jurisdiction over the animal kingdom, but requested more information on the case.

“We do not regulate animals, but this is a first and interesting to hear that there are two male lions in love. Some research needs to be done.” Mutua told thew Nairobi News.

The classification board leader also called for more research to double check that both of the lions were actually male.
