Last year the Perth Symphony Orchestra’s celebration of the music of George Michael was a sell-out success at the Astor Theatre.
For those who missed the fantastic show, there’s now another chance to see it. The show will be presented at The Mandurah Performing Arts Centre on Saturday 3rd March.
Created by the Perth Symphony Orchestra to celebrate the incredible body of work by George Michael, Faith and Freedom: The Music of George Michael promises to take the audience on a remarkable journey of emotions in a 90-minute scripted show that sheds a new light on some of his best-loved songs from Faith to Careless Whisper, Freedom 90 and I’m Your Man.
The concert will performed by the Perth Symphony strings, drums and percussion conducted by Kohan van Sambeeck and will feature the remarkable Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts Gospel Choir led by Matt Allen.
OUTinPerth’s Clinton Little saw the show last year and described it as a fitting tribute to George Michael’s work. ”
