Neinaber took over the high profile breakfast slot when former presenter Peter Barr stepped down after more than a decade in the role.

“We are incredibly proud of Caitlin and all that she has accomplished during her career here at RTRFM, and we wish her all the very best at her exciting new role.” the station said in a statement announcing her resignation.

“Caitlin has been at the helm of RTRFM Breakfast for just over four years and her professionalism, passion, love and deep want to connect with the listeners and her guests is something that will be hard to replace.

“Her passion of local music, arts and humans is beyond reproach. Caitlin has been a champion for the thousands of bands, artists, performers, comedians, hobbyists, listeners and eccentrics that have swung by Breakfast over the past 3 and a half years. She has helped launch careers with her dedication to the local music and arts scene, helping people share their wonderful creations with the RTRFM audience.” RTRFM said.

Caitlin’s last show will be a live outside broadcast from Rhubarb Records in Leederville on Friday 27th of July. RTRFM said the special event will feature loads of special guests and live performances – with more details to be announced shortly.

Between now and then they will be celebrating Caitlin’s time at the station with special guests, daggy jumpers, and of course all the incredible music she has helped thrive over the past four years.
