If you’ve ever had any questions about the realities of sex work, Bella Green will probably cover it in her hilarious show that draws upon her own experiences of working as a stripper, sex worker and dominatrix.

Using a combination of stand up, video segments and short dramatic skits Bella take us on a laugh out loud journey through the many different clients she’s encountered, the people’s she worked for, and the harsh realities of different types of sex work.

She jokes that the hardest job she’s ever had was working in a call centre for a major bank, but even in the world of strip clubs, lap dances and full service sex work there are challenges you might not have thought of. Like the importance of remembering where you left your underwear, the different kinds of brothel receptionists, and the secret to being able to wear ugg boots in a sex dungeon.

Bella is a confident performer, she cleverly coxes the audience out of their comfort zone and gives a positive and enlightened take on the world’s oldest profession. Her recollections of the way men act when negotiating sex will have you in stitches.

It’s a funny show from start to finish, but you’ll leave with a better understanding of the professions, and the people who work in it.

Bella Green is Charging For It is on for just a few days, get tickets at Fringe World.
