Connections Nightclub owner Peter Robinson passes away

Peter Robinson, one of the owners of Connections Nightclub, has passed away. The venue made the announcement on its Facebook page. Born in 1951, Robinson had been involved in the club for over 40 years, he began as an employee in 1978.

Entertainer Simon Gallagher splits from wife after more than 30 years

Much loved Australian entertainer Simon Gallagher has split from his wife Lisa after more than three decades together. The couple’s separation comes less than a year after entertainer Todd McKenney, who is Lisa Gallagher’s brother, announced on Melbourne radio station JOYFM that his brother-in-law was also his former partner.

Brunei defends its death penalty for homosexuality

Brunei has written to the European parliament defending its new laws that call for homosexuality to be punished by stoning people to death. The country says the harsh penalties are necessary to “safeguard the sanctity of family lineage and marriage.”
