Irish band The Divine Comedy dropped by Zoe Ball’s breakfast show on BBC Radio 2 in the UK this week and delivered a charming cover of a classic ABBA song.

The band fronted by Neil Hannon performed a version of ABBA’s Lay All Your Love On Me. The Swedish group first released the song back in 1980 for their 7th album Super Trooper.

The Divine Comedy has just released their twelfth offering Office Politics. The concept album features songs that are all about the increasing role machines are having in the workplace.

Since the band formed over thirty years ago over 20 different musicians have been in its ever changing line-up with only songwriter Hannon as it’s constant member.

Hannon has also collaborated with French electronic band Air, and written songs for German chauteuse Ute Lemper. He also wrote the theme tunes to the TV show Father Ted and The IT Crowd.
