Dutch fashion brand JimmyPaul and US toy company MGA have unveiled their collaboration which will see the designer releasing a Pride collection, which will also include some special edition Bratz dolls.

The Pride Bratz collaboration and an exclusive fashion collection will be released June 16th. June is Pride month in the USA which aligns with the Stonewall Riots of 1969.

Drawing inspiration from the iconic 60’s beginnings of Pride, Jimmy Paul combines a rainbow-colored aesthetic with Bratz’s sassy ‘Brattitude’, creating an exclusive Brat’s dolls duo toy set and an explosive ready-to-wear fashion collection.

Bratz queer characters Nevra and Roxxi, are also decked out in full JimmyPaul apparel and accessories, ready for their Pride walk.

Speaking of the collection Jimmy Paul said he wanted to show young people that they can embrace hope and power.

“This collaboration is a love letter to our chosen family, fallen friends, forgotten fighters and future lovers. I wanted to cover everybody in positivity and Bratz kisses of love and show that Pride is more than a party. It’s still very much important, because at the moment I’m talking about this, someone in the world still believes they are better off dead than being themselves. Hopefully, this brings a glimpse of hope and power!”

The toy company is also showing it’s support via MGA Cares, MGA Entertainment’s charitable arm, which has committed to donating USD$25,000 to The Trevor Project, a nonprofit organization serving LGBTQ+ youth in the U.S. and internationally.
