There has been much buzz around this the debut album from the sibling duo from Sydney. And all of it is deserved. The album concept is simple – A Book Like This is meant as something of a musical storybook. And with playful, foot-tapping guitar rhythms, listeners will feel right from opening track The Beast that they are in a simpler time sitting down to listen to their favourite childhood tale. Like all great storytellers, Angus and Julia Stone have a variety of voices to capture whatever tone the story calls for.
