Are you a good baker? Do you have a cake that’s your specialty?
John Carey, the member for Perth, is holding the electorate’s first ever community bake off.
The competition is only open to people who live in the City of Vincent and the City of Perth, and it’s only open to amateur cooks.
The judging will be undertaken by a panel, and there will be prizes for first, second, third and fourth place, in four different categories.
You can enter the cake section, biscuits and slices or savoury, plus there is a section just for children and tweens.
Money raised from the event will go towards North Perth Local, a new community group that emerged from Carey’s recent Perth City Summit.
The Bake Off is on from 3pm on 11 November. Enter the competition on John Carey’s website.
