CD Review: Odd Future

The OF Tape Vol 2 (OF)

Odd Future Wolf Gang Kill Them All (OFWGKTA), to use their full name, is certainly one of the most interesting hip hop collectives around. Collective member Tyler the Creator has released a succession of albums and Syd tha Kyd and Max Martin’s album as The Internet is an OIP office favourite. Highlights include the single NY (Ned Flanders), Ya Know, and the croon filled White. OFWGKTA have been noted for having both misogynistic and homophobic lyrics in the past, and the language concerns are on this release too, but it is some of the darkest and interesting sounding hip hop around.
