Happy Pride 2015: Festival opens with Northbridge party

Community

Perth’s annual PrideFEST opened last night with a party in the Northbridge cultural centre’s amphitheatre.

Several hundred people attended the event which featured artists who will be performing at the festival over the next sixteen days.

Guests were entertained by DJ Roski, one of Connections Nightclub’s resident DJs, alongside rock band The Tommyhawks and cabaret performer Lexie McGee. Local music identity Laith Tierney hosted the event.
