Kylie Minogue’s new single “Into the Blue” has been leaked prior to the song’s January 27th release date. Critics have claimed the song bears similarities to Delta Goodrem’s 2012 single “Sitting on Top of the World”. Allegedly the post-chorus hooks (Kylie’s “Into the blue’ and Delta’s “Now I’m with you”) are difficult to distinguish from one another, however it is hard to say whether these two sound any more similar to each other than any other pop song with a long “oo” sound finishing off a verse.

“‘Into The Blue’ is really special to me as it encapsulates a lot of what I’ve been feeling – I can’t wait for it to be out there.” Minogue has said.

The song was written by Kelly Sheehan, who has also written for Rita Ora, Beyonce and Rita Ora.

The single is available to hear at Idolator.
