Later this year Martin returns to acting when he appears as Gianni Verscace’s lover Antonio D’Amico in The Assasination of Gianni Versace: American Crime Story.

The series follows the highly successful first season The People vs O.J. Simpson American Crime Story, which blitzed the awards season last year.

Heavily based off Vulgar Favors: The Assassination of Gianni Versace by journalist Maureen Orth, this new TV show aims to explore the highly publicised murder of Gianni Versace, whilst also delving into the intricacies of being gay in the 90’s, told through the eyes of tortured man Andrew Cunanan, who will be portrayed by Glee stat Darren Criss.

The TV miniseries will debut on US screens on 17th January.
