It is a particularly significant Sorry Day this year, as it’s the 10th anniversary of the ‘Bringing Them Home Report’. The 27th also marks the 40th anniversary of the constitutional referendum granting citizenship rights to Aboriginal Australians. Join in celebrating the survival of Indigenous families and culture with guest speakers Kate George and Archbishop Barry Hickey. Queers for Reconciliation will have a stall at the event. There will also be music by Djiva, face painting and a free sausage sizzle.
