Streisand to Record New Duets Album

BarbraBarbara Streisand is to record a new duets album featuring artists including Lady Gaga and Beyonce.

The news was posted by the singer’s longtime Producer Walter Afanasieff, who will co-produce the new album with Kenneth ‘Babyface’ Edmonds.

Also set to join the party is Bette Midler, Josh Groban, Michael Buble, Andrea Bocelli, Billy Joel, Stevie Wonder and Lionel Ritchie.

Streisand’s first duets record was released in 2002 and featured recordings with other singers spanning her whole career including a few new recordings for the album. The first duets record included Judy Garland, Frank Sinatra, Barry Gibb, Barry Manilow and Neil Diamond among others.

No release date has been announced for the new album.
