The new album is called Quand tout Recommence which means ‘When Everything Restarts’. Arena has build up a whole second career as a french recording artist, and in France’s she’s highly revered.

Arena’s just released a snippet of new tune L’ombre de ma voix which follows on from Tant que tu es là which came out last last year.

Leigh Andrew Hill chatted to Tina last year and asked her if she ever considered recording French versions of her English language hits.

Tina told us that too often the intention of the song gets “lost in translation” so she always chosen to write in both languages.

Listen to their phone chat.

Aussie fans will be to see Tina take on a new role later this year when she returns to the world of musical theatre. In August Arena will star in Opera Australia’s production of of Evita.
