The group will officially become WA WANDERS MENS BUSHWALKING INC. Participation in the group now requires registered membership. Members will be able to democratically vote in committee members, other benefits include discounted liability and accident insurance cover.

Although membership is considered quite committal, organiser Brian understands that attendance might vary.

‘We realise that most walkers, due to other commitments may only get to a few walks a year; however in the eyes of this group you are definitely regarded as members because you enjoy walking with the group’, he said.

The group will meet at 3pm on Sunday July 8 to formally adopt their constitution at The Loton Park Tennis Club. People interested in becoming members are invited to attend.
