Young people aged two to 18 are invited to jump in to some exciting, free creative activities this April school holidays.
An empty store-front at 140 William Street will become an explosion of imagination and fun with FRONT, a youth-focused space curated by some major creative talent as part of FORM’s Scribblers program.
Every day throughout the program will bring a new adventure, offering a different lineup of activities each session.
Highlights include the Native Creative Station, with the opportunity to design upcycled masks, flowers and native animals; Map Makers and Time Travellers, a mixed-media podcast journey; and The Shop of Smudge and Spin, an interactive space for mural painting and collaborative expression.
“Making space for children and young people to create, connect, learn and share stories is more important now than ever before,” says FORM Strategic Creative Learning Manager, Laura Motherway.
“FRONT will allow children of all ages the opportunity to work alongside creative industry professionals to experience the magic of creativity and storytelling while developing essential skills for the jobs of tomorrow,”
