Preparations Underway for the Pride Parade

Pride Float BuildingSaturday afternoon’s Pride Parade is drawing closer and community groups are hard at work creating a range of floats and costumes that will bring the life the LGBTIQ community’s annual celebration.

Community Floats in this year’s Pride Parade have been given a boost through support from sponsors Chevron and Accenture. The two companies provided financial support to help community groups be more creative with guidance from community arts worker Paula Hart and supplied a space for groups to build their floats.
