Kylie Quits The Voice UK

KylieKylie Minogue has been credited with helping the UK version of ‘The Voice’ lift it’s ratings in 2014 but the singer says she won’t be returning in 2015.

Minogue tweeted her fans to announce that she was out of the UK talent show because it would clash with her planned 2014/15 tour.

Kylie’s ‘Kiss Me Once tour gets underway in the UK in Liverpool on September 14th and winds up in Dublin in November. It’s expected the tour will then move to other countries in 2015.

The announcement is sure to cause a headache for the creators of the UK show as fellow judges Sir Tom Jones and Kaiser Chiefs front man Ricky Wilson had indicated they would only sign on for another series if Minogue was on board.

Kylie will soon be seen on the Australian version of the show alongside Will.i.am, Ricky Martin and Joel Madden.

This week Kylie announced that the third single from her ‘Kiss Me Once’ album would be the Pharrell Williams penned tune ‘I Was Going to Cancel’.
