Deborah Conway, The Church’s Steve Kilbey, Adalita from Magic Dirt, Tim Rodgers from You Am I and iOTA will join forces to bring Bowie’s greatest tunes to the stage with the backing of the Symphony.

The quintet recently performed that same show with the Sydney Symphony Orchestra to great acclaim. iOTA’s performances of ‘Space Oddity’ and ‘Life on Mars’ were noted as highlights. Tim Rogers ‘Young Americans’ was praised alongside his take on ‘Lazarus’ from Bowie’s final album.

All together 28 of Bowie’s songs will be featured in the show ranging from the big hits to lesser known obscure songs.

“Bowie had amazing depth, and he didn’t disappoint even at the very end.” said iOTA.

The intriguing artist, whose won a Helpman award and been nominated for an ARIA, is originally from  Pinjarra. Last year iOTA appeared in ‘Mad Max: Fury Road’ as The Doof Warrior. He’s not the only Western Australian being featured in the show – Tim Rogers is originally from Kalgoorlie.

The show will be at The Riverside Theatre on Friday 11th November, tickets are on sale now
