Swedish pop sensation Robyn is back with her first solo album in eight years and it’s oh so sweet.

Almost a decade after the release of the much-loved Body Talk, Robyn returns with Honey, and a silky smooth sound.

Robyn says she wanted to fine tune a softer sound, working with Metronomy’s Joseph Mount, Kindness, Zhala and long-time collaborator Klas Åhlund to find her new groove.

“This sweet place, like a very soft ecstasy. Something that’s so sensual, and so good,” Robyn said of the album.

“I danced a lot when I was making it. I found a sensuality and a softness that I don’t think I was able to use in the same way before. Everything just became softer.”

Honey is available digitally and on CD now.
