The organisation is calling for LGBTIQ+ people between the ages of 12 and 25 to have their say about mental health in the LGBTIQ+ community.

The team will be conducting a range of studies looking at the difficulties faced by young LGBTIQ+ people including suicide prevention, stigma and the development of treatments to help improve mental health.

Participants will be invited to take part in group discussions about Telethon Kids’ research and how the health organisation can better meet the needs of young people in the LGBTIQ+ community.

You can register your interest by providing your name, age and a brief statement about why you want to get involved by emailing LGBTIQ@telethonkids.org.au and head to telethonkids.org.au for more information.
