Bronwyn Bishop, the former Speaker of the House and Liberal government minister, has suggested that the Labor party might begin funding drag queens to read stories to children.
Gladys Liu forgot she’s no longer an AFL Ambassador
Liberal candidate Glady Liu says nerves made her claim to be an AFL Ambassador despite her resigning from the role last year. OUTinPerth asked Liu why she was still claiming to be in the role, and she explained that nerves had got the better of her at the event highlighted and she had misspoke. Later in the week The Australian picked up on OUTinPerth’s report and confirmed Liu had ‘misspoken’ on more than one occasion.
