“I am transgender. No shit. That’s right, I’m a girl. I am transgender.” Raskopoulos declared in a new video on the band’s YouTube channel explaining why the band had been out of the public eye over the last twelve months.

The comedian said gender dysphoria was something he had been dealing with since his childhood. Raskopoulos  said that in 2014 she reached a point where she could no longer deny that she would be happier living as a woman.

“Sitting by myself in a hotel room I decided that if I wanted a shot at a happy life and a happy future, then I needed to transition.” Raskopoulos said.

The singer said her friends, family and band mates had been very supportive and since transitioning she’d be so much happier.
