Brooke Fraser has a voice with the potential to immortalize a song and captivate an audience. Unfortunately, she fails to do either of those on this album. ‘Albertine’ lacks the variety and range to support the singer’s natural talents, and many of the tracks are indistinguishable and forgettable.
