Erasure soundman Vince Clarke is going clearly going through a period of reconnection. He’s recently reunited with former Yazoo band mate Alison Moyet for a tour and now he’s teamed up with fellow Depeche Mode alumni Martin Gore to create an album of minimal techno. The two created this first class collection of electronica by sending tracks back and forth to each other and the result is ten tracks of intriguingly interesting instrumental beats, blips and swooshes that would not sound out of place the dance floors of dark Berlin night clubs. It’s also an awesome album to go driving to.
