Create a Perfect Picnic for Fairday

DSC_9022 GW LikeGet prepared for Pride Fairday tomorrow by making yourself the perfect Picnic for a trip to Hyde Park.

A picnic is minimal work, grab some fresh fruit, bread, cold meat and cheeses and throw a simple salad together.

DSC_7015Here’s a picnic version of fish n chips, envisaged here as salmon sandwiches and little cups of potato salad. Cut the potato’s into long strips so they look like French fries.

DSC_6978Cheese, Crackers and Dip are easy to put together.   Choose a few really different cheeses, a soft Havarti, boldly flavoured cheddar and something unexpected, we love this dark coloured Norwegian Brunost that tastes like toffee.

DSC_9013 GW LIKECreate a healthy salad of rocket, crumbled feta and walnuts.   Make a dressing of olive oil, vinegar and lemon juice.    Keep the dressing separate until you’re ready to eat.

Pride Fairday is in Hyde Park on Sunday February 16th, gates open at 11am. Visit Pride WA for all the details.
