Childish Gambino, The Avalanches and more head to Freo for Falls Festival

The massive 2016/2017 Falls Music and Arts Festival line-up has been revealed as the event gears up to head to the west coast for the first time this January.

Headlining the 24th iteration of the festival will be rapper and Community star Childish Gambino, the ethereal London Grammar and The Avalanches will be performing tunes from their long awaited sophomore album ‘Wildflower’ – sixteen years after the release of their debut ‘Since I Left You’.

The line-up is packed with exceptional international and Aussie talent, including Violent Soho, Matt Corby, Ta-Ku, Grouplove, Jamie T and Client Liaison. UK groovers AlunaGeorge, Danish pop princess MØ and the legendary Grandmaster Flash will be lighting up Fremantle in 2017.

For the first time, Falls promises to bring a new kind of festival to Western Australia. Besides the incredible line-up, the venue will be littered with makers’ markets and creative installations while performers amuse the crowds. The grounds are set to be loaded with the best local food trucks, complete with small bars and beer gardens.
