Last year the couple announced that they were about to become parents via a YouTube video, and today they’ve revealed that the babies have arrived.

Watkins uploaded a picture to social media showing that two, yet to be named, boys had been born.

Steps released 16 singles during their career which kicked off in 1997 with the very catchy ‘5,6,7,8’. The band called it quits in 2001 but reformed for a tour in 2011 and released a fourth album.

During the bands hiatus Watkins teamed up as a duo with bands mate Claire Richards, the pair recorded an album but it didn’t capture fans attention.

Watkins came out in the British press in 2007 just before he entered the ‘Celebrity Big Brother’ house. Today Watkins has retired from music and has a new career as a painter.
