James Taylor to tour

Musician James Taylor has announced he’ll be touring Australia in 2017, including a show at the Leeuwin Estate Winery in February.

It’ll be the first time Taylor’s visit Australia since his last series of shows in 2010.

Since first signing to The Beatles’ Apple Records in 1968, James Taylor has enjoyed a career spanning five decades.

The singer-songwriters tunes are well known and loved from Fire and Rain and Country Road to Something in the Way She Moves, Sweet Baby James, Carolina In My Mind and many more.

In 1971 James scored his first number one chart hit with You’ve Got a Friend, written by long time friend Carole King and earning him his first Grammy Award for Best Pop Male Vocal.

In the summer of 2015 Taylor released Before This World, his first new studio album in thirteen years, which earned him his first ever #1 album on the Billboard Charts and was nominated for a Grammy for Best Pop Vocal Album.  Recorded at his home studio The Barn, in Washington, MA, Before This World explores many of the themes that have absorbed Taylor throughout his career.

Next February James Taylor and his All Star Band return to perform two indoor arena shows, heading to Melbourne’s Rod Laver Arena and Sydney’s ICC Sydney Theatre.

Additionally, James will play open-air shows at Adelaide’s Botanic Park, Hope Estate Winery in the Hunter Valley and will also play at A Day On The Green at Sirromet Wines, Mt Cotton, QLD.

Tickets to the WA show go on sale Tuesday October 25th.
