Late Nite Tuff Guy Rules the Disco

LNTGLate Nite Tuff Guy has caught lots of attention in 2013 with his killer remixes and dance edits of disco tunes. The alter ego of Adelaide techno DJ HMC – aka Cam Bianchetti – Late Nite Tuff Guy is heading to Connections Night Club on Friday December 13th.

Disco has been huge in 2013, when did your interest in disco sounds begin?

I started buying disco records around 1977. I have a big collection. They are some of my absolute favourite 12”.
I still play a lot of them now.

What have you got planned for your album?

The LNTG album will be a mix of a few different styles… (Disco, House, Techno, and Funk). It will feature a couple of vocal tracks that I have written. I really looking forward to seeing the response it gets.

Which tunes are you lovin’ at the moment?

Really love the remix I did for an act out of The Netherlands called The Tailors feat. Ashibah. The track is called ‘Overdue’ and I think it’s one of the best remixes I’ve done. Really diggin’ Fingermans ‘Fool’. ‘Night Vision EP’ by 80’s Child is super good… love all the tracks.

What makes a great night out?

Definitely the crowd. If the crowd are ready to party then you are guaranteed a great night. You could probably play anything!!

What have been your highlights of 2013?

Playing in Berghain/Panorama Bar in Berlin was an incredible experience for me. Going to Cairo and playing a club on the banks of the Nile is a massive highlight. Getting the opportunity to visit Ireland was amazing. Such a beautiful country.
