Let Me Tell You…

An incredibly unique event is about to hit Fremantle in the form of The Indigenous Storytellers’ Forum. It is a chance for indigenous writers, actors, playwrights, film and documentary makers and musicians from around Australia to convene, collaborate and create further content for their canon of indigenous stories. There is an opportunity for participants at this forum to pitch their own stories; the stories selected will be given development and support from the Department of Culture and the Arts. The Forum itself will feature presentations from key speakers, plus provide participants with the opportunity to network with some of the industry’s best. The Indigenous Storytellers Forum takes place February 18 and 19 at the Film and Television Institute in Fremantle. Registration is critical, with forms available online. www.dca.wa.gov.au
