Last week Alicia Keys said her recording session with Madonna and Diplo had been a relaxed affair.

Now another music star has revealed they might be working on the album.

Indie musician Ariel Pink has revealed that he’s been asked to contribute to songwriting on the album.

In an interview for Faster Louder the popular indie singer shared that he’d been invited to contribute to writing songs on the album. Ariel Pink shared that his favourite Madonna album was her debut back in 1983, and he thinks she’s been on a downward slide since then.

The Los Angeles based musician is just about to release his 10th album under the name Ariel Pink’s Haunted Graffiti and is known for his lo-fi recording and making drum sounds with his mouth. There are few artists who could be further from Madonna’s dance sound, but he does have a pop sensibility.

UPDATE: 17th October 2014 – Madonna’s Manager has denied that Madonna will be working with Ariel Pink. While the pairs record label may have suggested putting the two together, Madonna is apparently not familiar with the indie artist.

Madonna loves to collaborate though and teaming up with Ariel Pink would just be the latest in a long line of collaborators for the material girl.
