Miley Cyrus: 'Everyone's a little bit gay'

Miley Cyrus has attracted controversy after making some comments regarding sexuality at a London gig.

The singer was appearing at Heaven’s G-A-Y in a “secret” gig, where she brought a straight friend up onstage to wish him happy birthday. She used the opportunity to make the following remarks:

“You know, everyone’s a little bit gay. Some of us just a little bit more than others… You know, it’s the truth. Everyone’s gay. All it takes is one cocktail. And if that doesn’t work, sprinkle something in their drink. That’s what I always do.”

Some have labelled Cyrus’ comment as a ‘date rape joke’, attracting accusations of poor taste.
