'Mixing in the Pink' midnight beats on Mondays

Curlee

Each month local radio station RTRFM has a different show in the slot between midnight and 2am.

The Revolver program is where new ideas for radio shows are tried out, or interesting ideas that only need four episodes – rather than the annual booking of 52 – find a home.

In January the space is being occupied by Mixing in the Pink, the regular podcast from Connections DJ Roski. Each week Roski invites a different local DJ with a connections to the queer community onto the show.

The show gives each DJ a chance to show their love us music without being restrained by the expectations of a club audience and promoters.

The first episode featuring JJ can be re-streamed from the station’s website. With over 30 years experience under his belt JJ has played a lot of different rooms in his time, but for the last 17 years his home has been Connections nightclub.

Tonight one of our favourite local talents Curlee will be spinning some tunes. Tune in to RTRFM at midnight for some great late night sounds.
