'Navigating Together' Offers Program for Gay Couples

Navigating TogetherHaving relationship trouble? Sick of heteronormative self-help programs? ‘Navigating Together’, an online relationship development program, has now tailored its product to same-sex couples.

The Don’t Just Survive, Thrive! Program for gay couples consists of 100 items in 10 categories that contribute to a lasting and loving relationship. Each of the items provides a focus for couples as they mark their progress in a relationship. Though the program can be done individually, it is most effective done together and with a coach.

  • Go through the statements and tick each true statement.
  • Score each section.
  • Set up rules for your discussion of the score.
  • Share your results with your partner, and have him/her share results with you.
  • Identify areas for improvement and plan a way to improve.
  • Keep working at it, and if necessary, employ the help of a friend, therapist or coach.
