This year the expanded foodies event will not only be held in Margaret River but will also see a range of events rolled out across the Swan Valley as well. If you’re a lover of great food experiences lock off November 16-18 in your diary.

Nigella will join  crows favourites  Rick and Jack Stein, Tetsuya Wakuda, Julien Royer, Ashley Palmer-Watts, Jo Barrett, Mitch Orr and Guy Grossi.

The announcement that the event would be expanding to include the Swan Valley was welcomed by the WA Hotel’s Association.

CEO Bradley Woods said he was excited about what the event could deliver for WA tourism, with hotels and hospitality businesses now about to participate in and capitalise on the iconic event.

“The Swan Valley will be a major beneficiary of today’s announcement, which given its close proximity to Perth will not only see more visitors staying in Perth hotels, but also make it easier for locals to participate in the festival,” Woods said.

“This is a sensible decision by the WA Government and we are looking forward to see this already successful event realise its full potential.”

“This presents a unique opportunity to leverage off the success of an existing event to support other critically important regions in WA.”

“Events such as these need to appeal to a wide variety of patrons and importantly, we need to ensure that those who do come to WA for the event can be adequately accommodated.”

“Today’s announcement will result in more guests travelling to WA with different product experiences on offer including the premium product of Margaret River as well as a number of stunning regions that offer amazing accommodation, hospitality and food and beverage offerings.” Woods said on  Friday.
