Queen of the Court 2015 Winner: Perri Oxide

The Court’s fabulous drag battle royale returns in 2016, with a brand new line-up of local drag performers vying for the prestigious title of Queen of the Court.

This year Amanda Love, Ana Falacksis, Demi Licious, Donna Kebab, Lani Da Rose, Lunar Sea, Miishy Ling, Vaboux and drag king Jason Green will be challenged to four weeks of competition that will test their abilities on the stage and on the mic – unless of course, they get eliminated…

This Wednesday, the potential Court royalty will show off their musical theatre, jazz & country flair with a performance number then put on their dancing heels for a dance battle in the second round. This week, all will be safe from elimination but next week the real battle begins.

The following weeks will see the competitors try their hand at comedy, group performances, looks, talent, lip-synching, make-up, their ability to outshine their rivals and so much more!

Perth’s biggest queens and some past Queen of the Court winners such as Ruby Jewelz, Ginava, BarbieQ, Perri Oxide, Feminem and Fay Rocious will be sitting on the judging panel each week and making sure everyone is on their toes. Previous Queens of the Court Alexas Armstrong and Scarlet Adams will be hosting the 4-week affair.

The winner of Queen of the Court will receive $500 cash, a wig from Wigs By Vanity, a spot on The Court’s pride float and a stack more!

Queen of the Court 2016 runs every Wednesday from October 26 – November 11 at The Court Hotel from 8pm.

NB: Leigh Hill of OUTinPerth will be a guest judge in Week 3.
