The fan favourite, who played Piper’s lover Stella, is expected to play a larger role in the new season having only appeared briefly since season 3.

“She’s back together with all the girls on the show,” a source told The Daily Telegraph.

“They even went to Elton John’s Oscars Party together in March.”

Netflix revealed the first teaser for the new season earlier this month, picking up from season 4’s tense cliffhanger.

Orange Is The New Black will hit Netflix on June 9.
