Sissy Ball: Australia's biggest vogue ball walks back into Mardi Gras

Australia’s largest vogue competition will be twirling back into the Mardi Gras line-up for 2019 after their sell-out debut last year.

Sissy Ball will returns to Sydney’s Carriageworks to once again collaborate with Sydney Gay and Lesbian Mardi Gras and Red Bull Music for an extravaganza on the runway.

Mother of the House of Slé, Bhenji Ra, is once again taking the reins to curate the ball, and has invited US vogue icons Leiomy Maldonado and Dashaun Wesley to join the party.

House of Slé will be joined by fellow Asia Pacific vogue stars House of Luna and House of IMAN to bring it with the fiercest talent.

Individual entrants and other houses are also seeking to take out the Grand Prize – following House of Amazon’s Yovana Banks’ incredible win this year.

Soundtracked by favourites of the international ballroom community, the soon-to-be-announced artist and DJ line-up will ensure the Sissy Ball is a night to remember.

Sissy Ball will be at Sydney Carriageworks on Saturday 23rd February as part of Mardi Gras 2019. Tickets and more information available from mardigras.org.au
