‘I have been very fortunate to see positive people get their health back and have the capacity to be involved in the community, WAAC and the Freedom Centre grow, staff members develop in ways that they never thought possible, volunteers become staff members and make valuable contributions, past staff members come back with renewed enthusiasm and skills and for WAAC to start new programs which have made incredibly positive contributions to the community.

‘I have also had the very great pleasure of working alongside some wonderful people in WA and nationally and will be leaving WAAC having learnt a great deal.’

Langdon expects to leave the organisation in mid-August giving the board of the WA AIDS Council time to conduct a national search for a replacement.
