WA Opera continue 50th anniversary celebrations with intimate event

Book in for a special evening at Nedlands Library this June as WA Opera continues their 50th anniversary celebrations.

The free event provides an introduction to opera with spoken word performances and live singing to provide an intimate insight into the operatic world.

The whirlwind, global musical journey will take people from the beginnings of opera in Renaissance Florence through to how it made its way to WA.

Light refreshments will be served as WA Opera members mingle with guests at the end of the event.

Head to Nedlands Library from 6.45pm to 8.30pm on Wednesday June 14. Bookings are essential, so head to nedlands.evanced.info/signup to show your interest.
