In a customer service reply to a bisexual user, the company stated “We understand you are bisexual and would like to be able to search for both men and women”.

“Bisexual members would be required to have 2 separate profiles. Unfortunately, this would mean purchasing two separate subscriptions.”

Match.com has reportedly claimed to be the UK’s most well-known dating site. It has made its services available to gay and lesbian users for a number of years. In order for users to search for both men and women, they are required to purchase a separate subscription and register it to a separate email address.

The customer service email went on to state “We have passed your email regarding the special requirements of bisexual members onto our development team so it can be taken into consideration for future updates to the website.”

Subscriptions to Match.com cost between £6.49 (around 11 Australian dollars) and £29.99 (around 51 Australian dollars), meaning that bisexual users could spend up to $100 on the website per month.
