Members of the church are currently in San Francisco for their ‘God Hates the Media’ campaign targeting the headquarters of Facebook, Twitter and Apple.

Williams’ dressed in drag in the comedy ‘Mrs Doubtfire’ and played a gay character in the cult classic ‘The Birdcage’. The WBC tweeted shortly following his death, labeling the actor a “fag pimp”, and stated that he “made merchandise of filthy proud sin”.

The Westboro Baptist Church have picketed the funerals of a number of celebrities they saw as “fag enablers” including Heath Ledger and Cory Monteith. They have also protested at popular concerts, including Lorde and Panic! AT The Disco.
