Troye Sivan Releases Video for 'Happy Little Pill'

Troye Sivan

Sivanians, rejoice! Perth YouTuber Troye Sivan has released the video for his widely popular single ‘Happy Little Pill’ from his new EP, ‘TRXYE’. We don’t know how to pronounce it either.

‘Happy Little Pill’ has peaked at number one in 21 territories. The audio track achieved 1 million views in only three days. And Sivan is only 19 years old. But he has been hailed as ‘the new Justin Bieber’, so it’s not all good news.

The EP is officially released on iTunes today, and all the proceeds from the song ‘The Fault in Our Stars’ go to a Perth childrens’ hospital. So you can enjoy some sweet jams and bask in the satisfaction of having helped the community.

In his atmospheric video Sivan pays homage to a number of music video greats. There’s cloth flowing in the breeze, much in the style of Bonnie Tyler. There’s people making out in a pool, much in the style of Miley Cyrus. Then Sivan competes with a barn owl to see who can look more majestic. And there’s a lizard. Check it out!
