Lesbian waitress threatened with Bible verse in North Carolina

JUDDA North Carolina waitress has shared an image of a receipt on which her tip has been replaced by a biblical chapter reference.

Out lesbian Alexandra Judd was tipped with the Old Testament verse Leviticus 20:13 which reads; “If a man also lie with mankind, as he lieth with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination. They shall surely be put to death; their blood shall be upon them.”

Judd told media that she had seen funny, novelty tips before but she never believed “it would happen to me, in the way that it did.” The patrons also added “Praying for you” to the bottom of the bill.

“I don’t care what anyone says, this is the most disrespectful thing you can do,” Judd wrote.

“Don’t pray for me darling, I have everything I could possibly want and need in my life.”

North Carolina’s new anti-gay HB 2 law has ignited discussion about LGBTI rights across the globe, with celebrities and organisations boycotting the state as well as raising funds and showing support for the local queer community.
